I'm thinking of heading to the hospital to visit whoever's still in this hospital (Izzy, Chelsea, anyone else?) before the meeting. Angela, Daniel, you can either come along, or I can pick you up on the way to Elsie's, your choice.

PS: I forgot to mention, SATs sucked, but surprisingly, not quite as badly as I'd expected they would.

I'm starting to think that we should, I dunno, move the school into a wing of the hospital or something, so we stop having to send kids there and have them just be there all along. This shit is, as they say, bananas, yo.

Good God. What the hell kind of question was that? "Nobody votes for all these reasons! Tell us why they should anyway." Thanks a lot for making me exercise my bullshit generator, State of Pennsylvania.

And I've finally finished my homework, so off to bed.

Now this is a bit more like proper winter.

Hello to all you MAHSers from warmer climates. :-)

Okay. I've found a field reasonably free from light pollution, and word is to check out the constellation Aries tomorrow night, so I'm bringing the telescope out there then. Anyone else wants to join me and get a look can feel free to do so. Bring warm clothes, and, if you want, a blanket and whatever you might want for snacks.

EDIT: Oh, and of course: [location, with directions]

The More You Know...

Yikes!
I think we all learned some valuable lessons from the chat and LJ last night.

My lesson? Quite possibly that if anything in this town is going to drive me up a bell tower with a rifle -- and I would like to stress that I have no intentions of actually doing that, so you can all stop calling 9-1-1 on me now -- if anything would make me do that, it's probably going to be exposure to everyone else's crazy drama. Oy.

Well, I hope everyone had a fun time at the party I'd heard about. Me, I apparently caught a cold from going out biking a couple of days ago, so I wasn't going anywhere. Of course, it'll probably only stick around until school starts, and then magically vanish so I don't have any excuse for not going. Sweet.

Keep that U-Haul movin', rawhide!

So, apparently, a whole lot of McDonald's have wireless Internet now. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised; after all, Grandpa was even able to get some sort of satellite-based thing up at his cabin. Guess Al Gore's been busy installing magnets or tubes or whatever everywhere, so everyone can get online.

Anyway... here I am at a McDonald's on the road from MN to PA. I have to say that "Middle Area" is an amusingly generic name for a town; can't wait to see if the town itself matches.

I suppose I'll have to find out what I need to do to transfer my license. Hopefully, PA won't decide that I'm suddenly Too Young To Be Trusted or something.

Oh, and since I didn't get a chance to mention it earlier: Loading up a moving truck in snowy December? Sucks.
